A Gentle Place to Start
You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin.
Whether you’re planning ahead, supporting someone you love, or simply feeling curious — this is a space to explore what matters most, at your own pace.
Hi, I’m Kathleen. The founder of The Everafter Collective.
My Approach
This work didn’t begin as a career path — it’s something I’ve been in relationship with for as long as I can remember.
When I was six years old, after my grandpa died, I wrote in my journal:
“But love and death is part of life.”
I’ve been quietly returning to that truth for the last 30 years. That love, death, and life are all part of the same story — and this work is my way of bringing them back together.
Over time, that early curiosity deepened into a quiet knowing: that when we’re willing to turn toward these conversations, rather than away from them, something meaningful opens up.
My work is rooted in that belief. Not that we need to rush, fix, or have all the answers — but that we need space.
Space to be honest, to ask questions, and to explore what matters most in a way that feels human and supported.
You don’t have to have it all figured out
Most people come to this work unsure of where to begin — and that’s exactly where we start.
You don’t need the right words, the right documents, or a clear plan. Just a willingness to begin the conversation.
Small conversations, meaningful clarity
These conversations don’t have to be overwhelming. Often, it’s the smallest moments of reflection and honesty that create the most clarity — for you and for the people you love.
Where are you starting from?
Planning ahead
You’re thinking about getting your wishes and plans in place.
Supporting someone

Just beginning
You’re not sure where to start, but you know this matters.
